Catherine Lange, President and Founder of Business Works of America, Inc.

Catherine Lange is a Partner and Practice Director for Coaching at Human Capital Advisors, LLC. She works with successful, high performance leaders who are ready to accelerate their professional effectiveness and organizational impact. Working one on one, Catherine supports leaders to build their strengths and overcome obstacles to success. Using her many years of hands on, executive experience, along with the application of state of the art leadership coaching techniques, she helps leaders to get their desired results.  

Catherine has been working in the executive coaching and leadership development field for over 15 years, and prior to that lead and managed for over 20 years business units in the high tech industry—managing sales, support organizations and technical staffs.  She was responsible for driving revenue production, profit and loss, and the delivery of high quality technical solutions for clients.  She had national responsibility for consulting and professional services across various industry sectors.
Working with leaders in organizations, she has helped them to:

  • Fortify their alignment with others while strengthening their personal leadership effectiveness
  • Enhance their communication’s style to improve their ability to manage and lead
  • Develop greater organizational awareness and savvy in dealing with politics and change

Catherine is a Graduate of Georgetown University; Corporate Coach University, with certificates in Myers Briggs, The Successful Professional, SOAR, DISC and other leadership development assessments. She is a graduate of post-graduate programs focusing on groundbreaking theory and practices in leadership, coaching, and executive personal excellence they include:  The Leadership Circle, Self-Relations Identity Process, & Gestalt Professional Development Program, Using Adult Development Theory to Coach Leaders, and Behaviors of a Cohesive Team. She is a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF).

Catherine is active leader in the community. She is Chairman of the Fairfax County Economic Development Commission, Chairman of Fairfax Futures, a member of the Board of Directors of Northern Virginia Family Service, a member of the Board of the Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce and co-leads the Non Profit Executive Roundtable. Catherine was selected by Washington Business Journal,  Women Who Mean Business, Class of 2011.
