Executive Coaching for Leadership Excellence
Executive Coaching focused on Leadership and Management Development

Executive Coaching for Leadership Excellence is designed for CXO level executives who play a significant leadership role in a company/ organization and carry the responsibility for managing and growing a business or business unit. Coaching services are focused on identifying the executive's leadership style and competencies, core strengths and barriers to success. This information is gathered through situational discussions and through assessment tools. Ultimately, the executive is able to gain greater insight into their own leadership style, the optimal work environment for them, their approach to teamwork decision-making and change and the potential pitfalls. The coaching work is focused on increasing the executive's awareness and self-knowledge, identifying the gains and costs of various attitudes and behaviors, and strategies for change. Through this process, the coaching work is focused on identifying and closing the "gaps" in perception, performance and behavior, and asking the executive to commit to specific actions that bring desired outcomes and results.

As described in our "Executive Coaching Approach" this service is delivered with the understanding of and within the context of your company's business and culture. Each individual is assessed formally and informally, according to specific criteria, and a coaching plan is developed with respect to their specific role, objectives and background. If there is a corporate sponsor, which is generally the coaching client's superior, the coach and the client meet together with the sponsor, to assure that the plan is in alignment with corporate objectives and that any additional information or feedback is included in the coaching plan. Then the coaching process begins. A series of one-on-one coaching sessions are conducted typically weekly over a three to twelve month period to support the development and integration of enhanced or modified business performance and leadership behaviors. Coaching includes face-to-face and telephone sessions. Periodic reviews are conducted with the coaching client to ensure that the coaching process is effectively addressing the plan and desired outcomes.

Why Coaching? Coaching works because it is targeted to shifting or changing specific behaviors, attitudes and beliefs. Through repetitive feedback and practice new behaviors are learned, shifts are made and sustainable change is possible. Additionally, the coach provides support and reinforcement, through a structured process, that helps the coaching client keep motivated while overcoming difficult barriers or changing long engrained patterns or beliefs.
